Obambo is very easy to confirm. Does almost nothing when it’s in its calm state and if it starts the hunt in its aggressive state the hunt duration is reduced by 20%.

A twin gets obvious because it will throw something in one room and then can immediately throw something in a separate room.

I've found out twins immediately because it opened a door downstairs, and was interacting upstairs.

I think twinteractions are real, but not a surefire way to tell if its twins or not

The range isn’t RNG though. They’re the only ghosts that can interact with things through floors. If the ghost is running around upstairs and it’s throwing objects or opening doors downstairs it’s 100% twins.

Since then ive been more careful and ive actually spotted a mimic just by its ability and not the orbs

Ive gotten mimic right multiple times even tho I didnt try to find its 3rd evidence based on orbs

If I had paid attention it wasnt a Yurei because none of the doors fully opened or closed they just cracked open

Just know that reading the tips doesnt help, you have to actually play

Once you reach level 50 I recommend doing 0ev runs

For a start you should disable item loss so you can learn looping, it won't give you money but you will learn

Like a Wraith will not step in salt, a Yurei fully opens and closes doors including the front door, a Jinn cant turn the breaker off, a Mare iirc is sassy and will turn lights off the second you turn them on etc

I had found the ghost room by ghost orbs but I was trying to check for freezing temps or spirit box. I didnt get spirit box but I got freezing temps, and that led me to choose Yurei. Spirit box can be a pain tho

All evidence except orbs follows the ghost as it roams. Orbs will only change rooms once the ghost officially changes rooms if it can / difficulty allows.

Sometimes you got to walk out of that room to get Spirit box follow the ghost around especially use motion sensors

There are 3 types of flickering:

• atmospheric, no EMF
• interaction, EMF
• hallucination, no EMF, not recordable

You can’t notice a difference actually, there’s only 1 way to know — keep an eye on the timer, but only those that go beyond 200 seconds will be guaranteed

do this a hundred times or something

fr tho see if someone will put on a custom for you if you aren't level 50 yet, and put on a 0 sanity custom where you don't lose money or equipment for dying, and just put that on repeat, forget about the horror aspect, the entire game now is just find and hug ghost. you will desensitize yourself to ghost hunting sounds and visuals and be able to focus on other things when you're inside.

I have a question about Moroi
So I know Mostly how Moroi works, The curse, Extended smudge timer, and faster when in hunts
My question is, when a Moroi DOESN'T see a player, starts a hunt, and sanity is around 20, should Moroi's speed be 1.7 or 2.25? Because I just had a 2 evi Game, where this Moroi was on 1.7 speed even though we were at 20 average
Is the speed increase only when it sees you?
I'm really lost on why the speed was 1.7
I was dead so I don't know if I was restricted to hearing 1.7 since I'm not sure what the restrictions are for being dead, besides not being able to see blinking or DOTS, iirc?
So, if I could get some help, that'd be great!

The devs have explicitly stated that all Unity-made maps will be remade at some point. They want to make the maps their own but creating their own assets. Tanglewood, Edgefield, Ridgeview, Willow, Highschool and Prison are left. I don't see any changes to Maple at all, or much to CWW because they're Kinetic-made. HS imo is in dire need of a rework, virtually empty, little distinctions between the many classrooms, little variety etc

Definitely looking forward to Tanglewood rework in a month or so 😄
