Guessed it was Twins (and it was) because I know they can hunt from their actual location or another spot within radius. The ghost room was on a different floor entirely when we summoned it though. uv and dots follow the ghost if it's roaming around. you can force UV if the ghost gives UV by getting it to step in salt, instead of waiting for it to touch a door or window. ghost orbs will always be in the ghost's favorite room, whether the ghost is currently inside that room or not (roaming or ghost eventing on someone in a different room, orbs will still just be in the fav room)

dots i think the ghost just has to happen to be in dots state while it walks through the dots during a roam/walking around ghost room

For the upcoming horror update, I think there needs to be some slight changes to the kicking system. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been kicked without any specification. It’s annoying. If people want others to leave, why can’t they just ask instead of kicking them without further elaborating?

Tho Ive only ever been hunted twice and both times its because I used the music box which is funny. Usually when the truck timer ends my sanity starts to drain cause thats usually when the ghosts event on me

My biggest concern was always the Wraith spawning directly on me but learning the salt trick when I got salt helped. Then the Deogen knowing where im at always, but idk usually I can rule him out if it isnt a Deogen

Yup, your sanity drains at half speed in the dark during setup time. Work on sanity management (staying in the light), and find hiding spots early

I usually use the video camera to look for orbs which helps me find the room while I wait for the ghost room to cool off. If I find it I just set up the camera and go get more tools

I'm going to play a round and try not to leave until I at least have the ghost identified. It's also helpful that I learned the Mimic will always show orbs but its not evidence just an ability. And the orb still helps me find where it is

Well I've seen the ghost walk through my motion sensor multiple times, and my dots are set up at the same exact spot as the motion sensor. I even checked while recording from the truck and while it set off my motion sensor I still didnt see dots

Ghost enters dots state, then happens to walk through dots. It isnt forced to be in dots state when walking through dots. So its very difficult to confirm its not dots.

Every 3rd flame blow out it attempts to hunt within 5 seconds. Another flame or other conditionals will prevent this attempt. If its a flame itll blow it out and count towards next attempt.

I have my options down to Goryo, Obambo, Oni, Phantom, and Wraith. I've only seen the dots on my camera in the truck so maybe it's a Goryo

So far it hasnt disturbed my salt but it also hasnt disturbed my motion sensor yet

You dont need to learn to loop really. Just have a plan of escape for now. Looping can be learned gradually and can be used to just escape the ghost to a hiding spot.

I was setting up only one camera in the ghost room but my ghost usually threw the camera to where I couldnt see in the truck. I set up 2-3 now and usually if 1 is disturbed it wont usually touch the other one. I hate not having a tripod only because there isnt a lot of furniture in every room to set a camera on, and the ghost wont disturb a tripod as often
