Has anyone ever had a ghost that never hunted? I was playing on the high school last night with some friends on nightmare mode. We were waiting for it to hunt too get the last video camara evidence. My one friend even broke the mirror. It still never hunted. Ghost was a Thaye and it was not accidental set to friendly ghost as we got money for the contract. We were in the contract for almost 30 minutes

If it "did nothing" during a hunt it was probably stuck in the map. Deo always knows where you are, runs Rev speed to get to someone, then slows to a crawl. Its targeting can feel somewhat erratic like you experienced in the 3rd hunt

yes, but not necessarily the shortest path to that player. Like I've been on CWW slowly looping the Deo around the campfire logs, then it changed targets to a friend who was inside the circle and got closer to the ghost. It turned on the jets and sped through me to get to him.

idk he wasnt that fast, im like lvl 30 so im not so knowledgable about the game but that was for sure not 3m/s he was walking at, if im correct 3m/s is his max speed which is also players sprint speed, he was def below that as i was looking at him walk down the basement stairs and to the basement corner while my friend was in the closet of the foyer (forgot to mention this was on tanglewood)

Salt takes a few seconds to cause a state change (probably this), and it only won't step in salt when enraged. So if it was weakened going into a hunt, it will take 2 state changes before it skips salt.

Think of the twins as one ghost with one short arm and one very long arm. The short arm can only reach ~4-5metres(I’m not sure about this) and the long arm can reach to 15 metres. This means it can interact with two separate objects in those two ranges as the same time. It can also spawn wherever it wants in that 15 metre range, but it doesn’t have to. A slow twin and fast twin can spawn from the same location, it’s just a matter of rng

The fast/ranged twin spawns at the location of the most recent ranged interaction, which correct doesn't have to be a certain distance away. Also, I've heard that's broken and even fast twin currently spawns at the ghost's location when it hunts.

Okay maybe a dumb question, but new player here… me and my hubby play and we do open party with randoms… we’ve had so many people tell us conflicting information so can someone please clarify… spirit boxes… we’ve been told they only work when the lights are off or they only work with the person is alone in the room… so which is it lol… I don’t see how it works only with one person in the room when you can turn it on lay it on the floor and it works when everyone is in the room doing something else

Yes the lights have to be off and sometimes ghosts can have anyone in the room but it's better practice to do it alone because you won't know in harder difficulties

In the easier difficulties you can look up near the name on the board in the van and see if it's an everyone ghost or in alone ghost

during a hunt just the front/exit door closes and locks, light would flicker but stay on. during an event, the room the event is in will have all the doors close but not lock and the light will turn off

if you can see the ghost walk towards you(and its not like a dark shadow or something) you can just walk away if youre not sure

during hunts youll see the ghost flicker between invisible and visible

you got it backwards. It's that Yurei can't do the touches that only partially move the door. So a door being fully opened/closed on its own doesn't instantly mean Yurei.
