It's a bug right now. It's been active for a while. Something is most likely either trying to make the bone spawn out of bounds, or failing to move it after it spawns, because it's always in the origin right now, which is where the bone spawns initially. That's why it stays there when the game tries to choose an out of bounds spot.

It's most noticible on Woodwind, becasue the origin is right by the entrance, and floating in the air. There also might be more out of bounds spots because of how the map is. So if you ever find the bone floating by the tree in the middle, that's what happened.

If sanity is high enough you will have time to record before the hunt, then run away/smudge. Just be wary, if the ghost starts hunting before it’s summoned, it will teleport it there and be still hunting.

take what you like about professional preset and make some custom modifications since you're above level 50

slight spoiler then. beyond profesional, the game starts giving you less evidence to work with. so you'll have to start learning ghost behaviors. but also, as long as you aren't playing a custom with 0 evidence, some ghosts have one specific piece of evidence they'll always give.

With Custom, you could start with a Professional preset then tweak it to be a bit harder, or start with Nightmare and make it a bit easier (like turning sanity monitor back on)

you could make yourself slower or turn off sprinting for a good boost in multiplier, maybe take some grace period away. find things that don't affect you i guess, and make them more difficult for the money

If you're a reader you can try the wiki. I use it to refresh my memory if I can't remember something. Maybe try learning 1 thing each ghost does that is special. Some ghosts have multiple things but they all have 1 big thing that seperates them. For example Oni can't Mist Form and Yokai can't detect electronics beyond 2 meters. When you learn one for each you can move on to smaller things for them

put a t3 motion sensor (or multiple lower tier) in the ghost room and just stare at the map in the truck. you'll notice the motion sensor is pretty active. eventually, you may notice it's not getting hit anymore. this means it probs changed rooms and is not a goryo. if you spend a lot of time and the same motion sensor still goes off in the same room, it's probs a goryo 🙂

Yes, but when the Yurei touches a door, it will ALWAYS go either fully open or fully closed. So, if the door is halfways open, the doors moves, but not fully in either direction. You can rule out a Yurei. Same if the door is fully open/closed and the doors stops somewhere inbetween. You can rule out the Yurei

That's what I thought 😆 it's also really luck based from what I've seen. People are cycling through games until they get good tasks or deo in the chapel or something.

Apoc 1 looks really comfortable though, I'm already playing around 5-6 so should be fine. My issue with 10+ multipliers (or pretty much every no sanity game) is that there is a lot of ghost behaviours outside of hunting, that are meaningless in those mods, as you get constantly hunted. It kills that fun deduction factor for me.

Like if you get Goryo on apoc 3 you are a bit screwed aren't you.

yea, it has fake ghost orbs to trick you. if it have uv, spirit box and freezing temp then you can just ignore the ghost orbs
