I assume this was already mentioned but does anyone else get a little annoyed by how the flashlight works? I'm new (December 17th) so I don't know if this problem is recent.

But firstly, the fact the "special" button (Default: tap T) that seems to only toggle the flashlight, doesn't work while it's in your hand, only while out of your hands. (I know I turn it on with the use button while in hand)

Secondly, the weird effect where the state of the flashlight in hand overrides the state of the flashlight on the shoulder when on. As in, if it's on in your hands, you switch, toggle it off using special, then return to the flashlight it turns it back on?

I know these aren't necessarily bugs, so I'm not sure if this should go into bug reporting. Is there a feedback area or something for this?

The animations to activate equipment as shown in the developer preview is a terrible idea and I hope they either don't do it, or offer an option to turn that off in the settings.

Like if they ruin Tanglewood, that wouldn't stop me from playing the game. But if they make items tedious and not fun to use, I'll just not play the game anymore.

go to settings and change voice recognition mode to text temporarily. some bugs with voice recognition make it stop working on PC, there are fixes, but this is just a quick workaround to get through the tutorial

so VOSK is a more strict voice recognition engine, System Voice is your system's built-in voice recognition (windows voice recognition) which is not as good but also less strict and also buggy as hell, if you tab out of the game, say to type in discord, you must click the phasmophobia icon to tab back into the game otherwise voice recognition will stop working until you do click the icon after tabbing out again (or you can double tap the windows key)

I doubt they would make the game more tedious. Waiting a tiny amount longer for equipment to turn on really isn't a big deal. If the community doesn't receive it we'll I'm sure it will be reverted/changed/optional.

I need some help as the ghost on ridgeview isn’t giving us a 3rd piece of evidence but it’s given us emf 5 and UV and we’re intermediate difficulty the ghost seems to be throwing stuff like no other but the poltergeist is greyed out someone please help out I’ll leave ghost we have as options

The Goryo is better known for their ability to hide from the naked eye. Whip out that Video Camera if you suspect a Goryo!

Strengths

A Goryo will often not project itself without the use of a Video Camera.

Weaknesses

Unlike other Ghosts, Goryos stick close to their rooms and never wander far or change it.
