the particular settings to use will be wonky to figure out

i suggest going into a game of camp woodwind with windy weather and adjust the settings to your liking when inside the map (friendly ghost so you have all the time you need)

Keep ur crosshairs pointed in the direction of the ghost at all times and try to stay tight to the loop object, if it’s a phantom, better to just smudge and run, I can’t loop phantoms. Also if it’s a spot that blocks line of sight like tanglewood then u can sit still when u are opposite the ghost and save stamina. I’m still learning but I’ve gotten much better through practice

One thing that is hard with looping also is knowing when to use sprint, if the looping object is a rectangle, I like to press sprint right before the ghost gets on the same side of the rectangle as me

Actually I just remembered that I use firelights on loops spots to help me keep track of the ghost

The way any info I find on it is worded, it will hunt (unless the hunt is blocked) after it blows out a firelight 3 times
However, I just did a no evidence run where it blew out like, 8 candles in a row and never hunted. I even recorded myself having fun with it because it was funny how much it blew out the candles. Why is this

Basically Ombama is bipolar it switches to aggressive and clam every 2 mins and can drain sanity, Dayan Well speed up depending on player speed within 10 meters or if ur hiding and it gets close you can run in place in ur spot to tell, and finally Gallu nerfs "safety" stuff Salt, Cruc, etc. Will go through salt once then has to go through other 2 phases to do it again, cruics lose some range, and I believe smudges ware off faster, ANDDD it starts off normal, then after "saftey" item it becomes aggressive, then after becomes a shade till smudged again then resets its phases back to 1

If an item falls through the floor, it's most likely in the van. I think it can also sometimes very rarely go to the zero point which in some maps are unobtainable

Just remember, you aren't required to loop for the duration of the hunt, you can always catch a glimpse of the ghost, smudge, then bolt to a hiding spot

Moroi - Check to see if your sanity is dropping more than usual after spirit box
Onryo - See if it blows out three candles without hunting or the 20s tell
Mare - You can rule out if it's turned a light on
Dayan - You can rule out if it's Male
