I'm wondering, which part of the ghost exactly is this range calculated from? A T1 cruzefix would have the range reduced to 1 meter so if it's calculated from the ghost's feet then it works as you'd expect but if its calculated from the ghost's head a T1 cruzifix on the floor wouldn't work at all because the ghosts are taller than 1 meter so their "head" would always be out of range.

Had a game where the ghost was doing nothing, i mean a bugged nothing. I was in the foyer in Tanglewood and I had motion sensors in there. The room was still cold so it didn't move. I had salt laid out through the middle, closer to the nursery path, and the path leading to the living room. There were no interactions, no sound, nor ghost events. No salt was walked on, no motion censor went off. And then all of a sudden the breaker went off and then everything started up again. It was an Onryo. So it wasn't behavior based.

The ghosts knowing exactly where my hiding spot is that works 95% of the time walk straight to me both games in a row and killed me without a heartbeat. My mistball ghost event photo not working when I'm standing on the edge of the kitchen and the mistball reaches the basement door and it still doesn't count. Ghosts not hunting at the correct sanity, The spirit box not lighting up anymore when you know the ghost is in the room, Sound recording not working when there's two sounds at once a candle fire light being blown out and the ghost whispering something, And even if it's not a gallu, Two tier three crucifixes Both in two games one being a Wraith not stopping more than one hunt, and Gallu exhaustion seeming to be nerfed. idk just everything?

The photo system is a joke these days too. Missing ghosts because of blinks and dots being even more luck based. Trying to get a dots ghost photo is nearly impossible is a small room. The ghost used to go into dots state until it left the dots but now it flickers in and flickers back out

The entire photo system is a joke based on two types of photos you're unable to get? For one, getting photos during a hunt takes a little bit of skill but nothing to do with the photo system itself. DOTs can be a little tricky, but as long as you only have one DOTS device, it's usually fine. That said, the photo system can do with some tweaks, (e.g. more photo opportunities) and priority system

Hopefully said tweaks and changes will happen and it'll be polished closer to 1.0 release

@serene shale I haven't done apocalypse in a long while but the one piece of advice I can give is to never step outside the range of a cruzifix when there's even the slightest chance for the ghost to be near you.
That includes the possibility for a wraith. It's unlikely, but it can instakill you at literally any time if it happens to teleport to you and then start a hunt right after. I've seen that happen.
Usually I spend the first 5 ish minutes camping at the entrance with cruzifixes around and scout for the ghost with the para mic before daring to go anywhere near it. If you're sufficiently careful, a wraith (and to a lesser extend banshee and phantom) may even be lucky because they'll come to you.

It's extreme risk management basically. Either you have to mitigate risks as much as possible which can be extremely slow at times or you have to be fine with dying to rng more frequently with ghosts you could otherwise win against.

there's a similar issue with crucifix on some maps, like tanglewood basement, there's a rug, and if you overlap the cruci on the edge of the rug, sometimes it gets stuck inside the rug and pushed through the floor. or prison, the floors basically anywhere will just suck the cruci in and teleport it to the truck

Tanglewood, ghost room was Boys Bedroom. Ghost was a Raiju. What was confusing was that cold temps were found in the hallway and not the room.

It was snowy (specifically it was one of the event maps). The ghost room was, like, 8, which was the house normal, but the hallway (which wasn’t the ghost room) was 2, typical ghost room temps. I knew Boys Bedroom was ghost room cuz ghost orbs, and gorbs only show up in ghost room.

Is there a logical explanation as to why the hallway was way colder and felt like the ghost room more, even though it wasn’t, or was this just a bug?
