Not sure if this is how it already works or not, but does make me curious if the dayan tracks everyone or one person during multiplayer. If it tracks everyone during multiplayer, that’s cool, but i feel like it’d be more interesting if it tracked one person’s movement and used that to gauge when it hunted. If that particular person is moving around a lot whether it be during or before a hunt, you get to deal with an early hunt. And building on it, i feel it could possibly change between hunts if it’s more than say 2 people in the lobby.

So one person’s movement could be tracked for the ghost one hunt, then another person’s movement, and so forth. Then again, idk how that’d work in terms of coding since i don’t know how to code at all.

Raiju doesn't speed up with global chat, the likes of motions or sound sensors that aren't active (not placed), video and photo cameras

Global chat
Video cameras and Photo Cameras that are thrown on the ground

Objects in the inventory (except flashlights that are turned on)

it's possible you just missed a spot, I've never seen a ghost spawn on a crucifix unless it was a cursed hunt. If you've started a cursed hunt, all following hunts will be cursed as well from what I understand. Are you using a lot of cursed items?

Game 1) Tanglewood, kid's room. Cruci in centre of the room, cruci on the doorstep. Goryo started hunt in the centre of the room.
Game 2) Tanglewood dining room, cruci on the table, cruci on the kitchen counter... and the demon starts it's hunt in between the 2...
Game 3) Willow. Cruci's on both sides of the car. Potergeist events on top of cruci, and decides to then start hunt from same spot. From the top of the cruci.

Between normal hunt - yes, but when it tries to start a hunt and then fails because of a fire in range - no, it can try to start a new hunt in 2 seconds, there's no cooldown in this case

That's why you can catch <20 sec extinguishes
