• goryo never changes favoriate room, dots only visible on cameras

• mare cannot turn lights on, but can only flick them off after u turn them on (often twice in a row) it hunts more at low sanity in the dark and it avoids light sources

• yurei its the only ghost that can close the front door without a hunt

• its really quiet when ur in the same room and rarely hunts when its near u

• dayan idk yet

Too low lv = noob, kick them.
Too high lv = cheater, kick them.
That's how it's usually is.
Apart from that, lots of lobbies are ppl playing with their friends, which means they reserve the slot
Some ppl also kick when a player have an accent they don't like.
No need for hard feeling. U just have to get used to it.

I have 3 new ghost ideas for thd devs that will never be used.

A ghost that is based on the Ambiant Lighting. A reverse Mare. Gets faster is the lights in the room are on. Similar to a Raiju mixed with Hantu.

A ghost that does absolutely nothing unless you acknowledge it's existence. Like saying it's name, asking questions, using Cursed objects. Each thing you do, it raises the Hunt threshold.

And lastly. A ghost that creates a HOT room and gets faster the warmer the room gets. It also ends up creating a Cold room at the farthest distance to the Ghost Room to create a false positive. Or rather a False Negative.

The idea is that the ghost is weaker than a shade. But the more you interact with it. The higher it's hunting and activity threshold increase. To the point you can have high sanity and get hunted. . Maybe also increasing it's speed.

It's weakness could be thag smudging it, reduce the threshold build up. So if the threshold is at 70. You smudge it, suddenly it drops to 30.

The twins long range interaction hunt can bypass a crucifix if it's not placed in the area where the ghost currently is

One of the newest ghosts can lower the range of crucifixes

And the most common is misidentifying how the ghost/crux works, if it takes a step outside the crucifix range the ghost can decide to hunt but then turn around take a few steps and then actually hunt while it's calculating it

It’s not only double touches, if the ghost fully opens or closes a door it’s a yurei. So if it just nudges a door it can’t be a yurei. Yurei has more interactions that show it’s a Yurei than the Goryo

You unlock trophy upgrades as well (which we didn't have last year)

The more advanced modes mean less evidences from the ghosts, so you need to be real good at working out what the ghost is with two, one, or no evidences. Plus the ghosts are friskier, your sanity drains faster, and some of the screens in the van do not work

Yes, that is a good thing. you could do a Custom difficulty using Nightmare as a base, but tweaking it so you still have the screens in the van, and perhaps less sanity drain so that you can get used to runs on two evidences only, but with a bit of a safety net. That's how I started learning for 0 ev. I made a custom that is 2 evidence with other settings that make it fun for me while giving a 4.5x multiplier. After getting the 2 evidence, I used the cheat sheet to look up the tells for remaining ghosts.

The jump from 3 down to 2 is definitely significant, but you collect your 2 like normal, then study the few remaining ghosts and find ways to tell them apart. It very well may involve getting a hunt.

Eventually you will learn to guess the right ghost when even on three evidences the ghost refuses to give you the third evidence. You listen out on the hunts, or discount possible evidences not given, cos if it was that evidence you would have already got it. We do a lot fo listening at hunts when the third evidence doesn't drop, got the ghost right most time. We usually play Profesional

If Custom is an option, set it to 2ev but turn the sanity monitor back on, that can be a help in ruling out/confirming ghosts as well.

a lot of the combinations are pretty easy to test out the remaining ones, because you can also use knowing that some ghosts have forced evidence to rule them out (like, if you have UV and ghost orbs, it can't be hantu cause hantu has forced freezing)
