when you type in a game code before the code is a region code like NA for north America ect, Its not finding the game from the code so it's asking you to double check the region, the code itself and if you have crossplay enabled cos they can all be reasons for it not finding the game

In 3 evidence runs, if the ghost yeets the book it can't be writing (iirc)
In 2 evidence runs, does this still count? As in, can I count it as a confirmed "It can't be a ghost who has writing, even if it's the "hidden" evidence"?

Hunt would let you identify half those ghosts without actually having to actually see them. Revenant is super easy to pick when you're hiding in a closet because it's soooooo slow

It's amazing how much easier it is to notice ghost orbs now that the cameras are like THIS IS A GHOST ORB

I had ghost orbs that I couldn’t record yesterdsy but it was obvious they were there

Yeah, occasionally they'll be there but the camera won't record them. But mostly now I just sweep the room with the camera and it's like ding ghost orbs

It's definitely harder to see in there than most maps, even with the lights on. But it shouldn't be pitch black with night vision camera if that's what you mean

The ghost that has a higher hunt threshold when a player is speaking, does that count in solo when you have proximity auto voice and you just speak to yourself?

turn your voice to push to talk or toggle, if its on voice activatiom, then it should count.

tho a moroi is more dangerous when talking near it as it lowers your sanity and gets faster with lower sanity

Yeah I need to learn more about big sanity drain mechanics. So I don't just quit missions out of frustration, I can narrow the options down

the moroi can curse you when you talk to it wich increases sanity drain, the mare can hunt at 60% if lights are off or 40 if they are on, demons can hunt you whenever they feel like it, thaye starts at 85 ish and it goes down as you are near it (it ages and gets slower with age and starts hunts at lower sanity), shades hunt at 40% and cant hunt when ur in the room with it and for the yokai its 80/50 depending on if youre talkin or not

unless i forgot smth that should be all the sanity ghosties

you can cure the moroi curse with sanity meds btw

Hey yall I'm fairly new but getting the hang of it. Curious how crucifixes work. I've had a few times where I've had a crucifix down in the ghost room but end up getting hunted and killed from a ghost that seems to spawn from really damn close nearby. Where does the ghost start its hunt from? Is it just wherever the heck it happens to be?

Nah, ghost has to be in cruci's sphere range to stop the hunting

II tier - 4 m

The crucifix has a radius. You can see as you place with the use key.
All ghosts hunt from wherever they are they do not hold still.
Use crucifix to stop the ghost from blocking exits by placing them in escape routes also.

Well shoot, I was thinking the hunts had to start from the ghost room. Okay so you do just kinda get bad luck sometimes, I gotcha. No worries. I was thinking that was totally safe.

Might have to start bringing two and put one slightly outside the room or something just so I'll have a tiny bit more warning.

If the area does not cover even the tinyist of corners the ghost can easily hunt (in the same room)

that would be the best way to prevent a hunt as much as possible (not 100% due to roaming, but better)

ofc make sure the room is fully covered, just hold the use key to see the range

Oh unrelated question. Does disturbed salt = guaranteed UV evidence? Like if I have see salt disturbed and immediately check for footprints, can I rule out UV?
