Spirit Box is a bit tough at Tier 1
you need to be in the same room the actual ghost is (which might not be it's favourite room all the time)
with all room lights off (flaslight, DOTs, candle etc is OK)
alone unless the ghost is comfortable talking in groups
and you also need to be quite close to the actual location of the ghost, so if you don't know exactly where the ghost is (easier in later games when you have more equipment) you need to walk around the room and get lots of 'question heard' flashes to test lots of spots

The last part is especially important. If you're not getting the red light blink when asking questions, your voice rec isn't working properly.

seeing your breath means the temp is 5C or lower. Snow is the only weather that cold, so it's usually an excellent indication of the ghost room, especially if the breaker is on.

because the ghost makes whatever room it's in colder and colder

but if the room is tiny it spends more time outside making other rooms a little cold

temps are just a function of how long the ghost is spending in a room. It will go to freezing if it spends enough time in its room and ofc has Freezing Temps evidence

Demons also have an ability where it can hunt regardless of your sanity

It basically still does the old style open/close without all the new door rattling and shaking.

"normal" ghost speed before LoS is 1.7m/s. Player walking speed is 1.6m/s, and sprinting is 3.0m/s. So we can scoot away pretty quick and if you don't let the ghost see you too much it'll never get fast on you

it's never an absolute value, it's lower than usual. If you're on amateur the breaker is already on so the house is pre-heated.

Dislike those saves

Anytime you do a contract and then leave it essentially auto saves. Closing/Exiting the game out differently can cause cloud errors with the game and delete progress. So I usually always hit “Leave Game” instead of just other ways

I remember losing 200 levels cuz my game decided to crash in the lobby then my cloud couldn’t resync so I lost it

Enable cloud saves on xbox so saves are backed up and can be recovered
