Yeah, you likely walked into it. Sanity drain is increased by 100% on blood moon so your sanity just got chomped and it hunted most likely

it's 3 m diameter (well, I think those were the numbers we were working with at the time XD)

switching from exclusively playing singleplayer to almost exclusively playing with two players has really improved Edgefield for me
and yet
Ridgeview received no such perceived upgrade
Even though the en suite situation in Edgefield is ridiculous, at least the layout feels like a house you could live in
and not a jumble of map components that have been put together at random Betrayal style

It's a very obnoxious achievement for most. It's less than a 5% chance to get a Demon in the first place, and then you need to die to its ability hunt (a normal hunt or cursed hunt won't count) within 1 minute of opening the door. A lot of people can, and have, gone months or longer without an early Demon hunt because of the low odds.

Imo, it's the worst achievement in the game due to the sheer layers of RNG that need to line up for it to occur.

I'd say it's pretty painful on average. It's a 1/24 chance that you get a demon at all. You then have to hope it decides to use its ability, which doesn't happen a huge amount. You then have to hope the ability is executed within the first minute. You then have to hope you're close enough to the demon to get killed by it before the same minute is expired.

Achievements in this game are just silly little pictures that add minor cosmetics, of course, so I think they're allowed to be dumb

Yeah, because I can consistently light it the first time, but never a second time. No matter how I position myself and because of the Challenge settings; the ghost spawns almost immediately after I get it lit the first time and doesn't leave me time to try more than once or twice before I have to loop. It ends up being: Light campire > loop ghost and collect evidence > attempt to relight campire if it went out > loop ghost and collect evidence > attempt to relight campfire if it went out > etc etc etc

Has anyone else experienced this? We had a banshee, professional, Tanglewood Dr, investigating the bathroom. In that, new character models/animations are scheduled for 2025, and customizations in early 2026. They've hinted throughout the year that we might be getting them together. One of my favorite things about the tarot cards is how you can use them to die outside the map. If you pull the hanged man you can run out of the house while the death animation is starting to play.
