Tanglewood is everyone's first exposure to the game, and many people's favorite, so I'd bet they don't want to rock the boat too much. But at the same time the quality of the look isn't up to the same standards as the other newer maps, so it makes sense that they're doing that house map first.

Ghost is slow, you're not. Smudge it during a hunt to buy time, drop a crucifix and collect evidence between hunts. The grace period is short, so you've gotta react fast when it hunts, but so long as it's not literally on top of you, you should be fine.

There’s a solid way to confirm or disprove a Yokai’s presence. It has a much lower detection range for your voice and electronics. If you let it hunt and spam global chat and it doesn’t come to you, it’s probably a Yokai

There's nothing you can do to permanently fix it. It's a bug. Sometimes, there are temporary fixes for people, like resetting the MAC address or muting and unmuting, or blocking and unblocking. But eventually it happens again and again.

Pointless lore question: Why do you figure we never hunt ghosts during the day aside from the crack of dawn?

My best guess is that daylight renders ghosts mostly inert and you can’t get evidence from them

We’re doing the slow and steady challenge mode, been in match for about 35 mins, it hasn’t been exactly quiet while hunting, LITERALLY seen it on dots even have a recording of it being on dots, yet ends up as myling? Also only got two sound recordings cause wouldn’t give us anything else

if ur on edgefield or cww then yes

this is because the range of the crucifix in the truck reaches inside the map, so if the ghost is in that range, it'll burn the one in the truck

if the two crucifxes were overlapping the ghost, then idk it just picks one of the two
