go into a custom game and make it where you have no sanity and just make it as hard as you can and just keep dying until you get it, ive seen multiple people do that

Interesting. I guess it used its ability. It is the one achievement that tilts me in this game. Like everything else basically RNG not really any skill based achievements in phasmo at all. But that one I still don't have because I just never see demons and when I do, it never events in the first min.

Question: What’s the best method to get points for the events? I can’t play the large maps for the life of me BUT I can figure out ghost behaviors pretty well.

Notes said if you play on like 8.5 multiplier you get like 8 points more points. I mean ya the best way to farm points would be to not really play the game and just run in at max payout, and get it on ghost speed.

Because if you were playing the game and not for points higher diff would slow you down. But if your just going in to die, then ya higher diff is more points.

I feel you're missing out perspective, the office fire prevented them from accessing their dev kits for console for a while. Yes this takes a dent into development. Tie in the fact they were working with two programmers which is a huge bottleneck. So yes, console release took a long time. Not to mention making sure they get out other content around that

It’s such a hard grind in solo though and higher difficulty isn’t really a gain for the few points extra, because it (at least for me) takes longer and is more dangerous. I don’t think I will do more than to the second upgrade as I would burn out else

If you want to grind go on cww or tangle - set to high mult - check one hunt. If yo ucan figure it out by one is easy. If you cant just leave and guess

Its not about getting it right all the time. Its about doing fast runs with a relatively high chance to get it right

Ghosts like jinn, goryo, mare, yurei and so you just leave cuz ut would take too long to test them. Just hope for faster ghosts or the oned with different blinks

I don't know exactly what the launcher does, but it seems like it installs the real files from Steam because it also knows if you bought the game, etc. GTA 5, for example, uses the cloud save file, which I also use from Steam.

I know how to speedrun with 0 sanity. For me it doesn’t feel right though to just guess randomly if it’s not clear. I especially don’t want to die on purpose just to get faster runs. Proper runs with 0 sanity take time

I was just playing with a friend in Tanglewood and brought my tripod and camera... I went in really quickly... but my friend said all the cameras are locked in the van and that I only went in with my tripod, even though everything was fine by me because in my sight i had the camera with me.... but it does depend on your skill level as well

it's not about how easy it is to get points... a normal game gives you between 20-30 points a go in professional, and takes between 20-30 mins (I'm talking as a casual player, I know pros will just go with the meta and grind that in 2 minutes), add that up and you need 120 games * 20-30 mins that's... between 40 and 60 hours just for this event... that's too much

The meta strat is basically guessing after one cursed hunt and die deliberately. For me it defeats the premise of the game.

hii so i have this issue where every once in a while my game freezes? it stops for a few seconds, which isn't the worst but it often happens during major game events like hunts starting or ghost events which often makes it lethal or at least very inconvenient. is this a common issue? or is there a fix maybe? I have the game installed on an external drive, could that contribute to the problem?

as a suggestion:
Go to Woodwind with these settings. Go around the outside of the map getting totems while holding 3 T1 smudges. when the ghost hunts, try to determine what it is based on blinking, speed and abilities. Then leave and guess.
Rinse and repeat, you can get it within 2 days of moderate play. additional players can help with optional objectives and further monitoring of the ghost, as well as allowing you to hide behind the picnic table until it hunts, making totem-touching safer post-hunt.

it would depend if your playing solo or multiplayer though, are you trying to get the objectives, are you looking for the totems so many things it defintiely would be hard to tell you how many games it would take

not all can be determined without evidence. if you can't guess, then you'll get 4-6 points, maybe a few more. but guess correctly, you can get 31-41 points

and the challenge, reseting to lvl 0 means you have only starter items and a small amount of people (including myself) do 10.32x or higher which makes it more difficult because you can only use a flashlight
