ah the old mixed ghosts bug. i remember when someone had a deo that wouldn't kill people because they weren't the target. so that old bug is back again? or was it ever fixed? who knows! kinetic plays russian roulette with bug fixes.

you have to create a test plan test that mechanic/feature/map then report findings after simulating a scenario in a multitude of different ways then tell the programmers then rinse and repeat. This is a simple version without different testing methods and stuff

Who says it's a QA issue? The more likely explanation is that QA find and raise the issues, and then they are put onto a list for the programmers to fix, and then the programmers deal with them alongside their other tasks.

Then retest and retest, added back when necessary and the cycle continues

I think the trophy is part of the save files that get uploaded to the Steam cloud, so it should get automatically transferred to a new system if you play on the same Steam account

once a hunt starts it will come from whatever place it currently is at, which you can track using motion sensors and salt, and you can listen to it's hunt sound to figure out roughly where the ghost is at

Keep the recorder on (note: it switches off when you switch items) and roam around the ghost room. From my experience, the ghost sound can come from locations as far away as like 4-5m. Also, you can always get 1 recording of a blown out firelight.
