I was cheesing Reach 0 Sanity and Survive with the Starter Items, so I put it on 15x, went to Sunny Meadows, picked a ghost at random with my eyes closed and shut the journal so I didn't even know what I picked, and got it right at complete random. After spending so many 25 minute games making $1,500 for perfect professional games, I just made $6,150 in 43 seconds of investigating.

Also, it was the Twins, and they already did 1 ability in that 43 seconds.

phasmo doesn’t have the mechanic of the ghost using players voice back at them and i want them to incorporate it somehow so similar to a mimic but in phasmo a mimic is just a ghost that mimics other ghosts, this one would mimic players and the lore of skinwalkers is to not say the name or they are more likely to target you which is where saying the word could initiate a hunt and yes similar to yokai which makes it less obvious it’s a skinwalker otherwise players would run in yelling it over and over and get 0 evidence in 2 minutes

What if they made a challenge mode where you had to hunt multiple ghosts in a large area? Two ghost rooms, but if you are feeling masochistic, you can make 4 ghost rooms on custom mode. 1 rule: all ghost will hunt at the same time regardless of sanity level.

you can't really rule out goryo based on behavior (other than changing favorite rooms, they can't do that). The only way to be very sure it is a Goryo is if it shows up on DOTS on camera with no ppl in the room but is invisible to someone looking into the room

Another way to calculate probability is <favored outcomes>/<total outcomes>. Here, total outcomes is (24x14)^2 (2 games of 24 ghosts and 14 rooms to pick from).

Favored outcomes: 14 (rev in foyer, rev in foyer
rev in kitchen, rev in kitchen
etc…)

So probability is 14/(24x14)^2
= (1/24)^2 * (1/14)

I have a 4080 GPU and i7 14700 CPU, so i should have no reason to be crashing espeically since im running it on lowest settings and dx11 (tried this to fix solution). when the game crashes the temp is never above 70C so it isnt the cpu. Something must be on. Maybe your headgear? I've also noticed the Sound Recorder will buzz annoyingly when it's on during hunt, even if it's just on the floor.

But hunts themselves don't cause any static noise.

doesn't make a difference. But I AM playing on a mac via Nvidia GeForce, which is complicated. The audio sample rate is incompatable by default. They may have added a sound to hunts that triggers static.
