Are you sure you got the right room? There is something in the game where the ghost can start directly above/below the actual ghost room at the very start of the game before making its way back to the actual room

I didn’t know where the ghost room was because nothing was happening and no equipment to find the room

I stood in the middle of the map not move and 40 minutes later I was still standing there and the equipment still wasn’t doing anything

So I called it quits and guessed the ghost that doesn’t do anything and I was wrong. It made me mad so I quit the game and went on marvel rivals

The sound and video recording is part of the recently new chronicles update, the sound recorder you just use the mouse button that you would other devices and wait for the spirit to do something which could be emf-5, hunts, events, whispers, talks, and so on and you have to hold it while it's doing a thing. Video recording is kind of the same thing like objects being thrown, doors, etc and can both of these mechanics can be used in objectives and it also makes perfect investigations different instead of just snapping photos of salt before the chronicles

There's 2 tests, a yurei can ONLY fully open/close doors/cabinets (not lockers). if you smudge a yurei that is in its room, it cannot leave the room for the full duration of the smudge effect.

You can test the second one using motion sensors

Anyways! I have a question... I just played on Ridgeview, doing the challenge and I got myself a Moroi, but one thing that happened during the run got me curious. Ghost was in the Girl's Bedroom. You know those candles around the house which you can light them up? I totally forgot those were a thing and didn't even see the one in the bedroom. I'm checking the book on the ground and I hear this faint noise behind me, I look at where the noise came from and I see the candle lit. In fact, I only remembered these actually existed after this happened. Is this a thing now? If yes, y'all know which ghosts can do it?

it could've been a sync error considering the ownership of the lobby has changed from my brother to me, and chosen two different ghosts at once because my brother loads faster than me and used one ghost's ability when it wasn't that ghost.
we have no idea how the game is coded, you have no idea what bug is possible.

Buuut you don't have evidence to report it as a bug so it's your word that it just randomly happened vs multiple players saying "that would be a first"

You can report it as a bug, but you'd be requested for evidence, such as clips.
