The game is designed where a lot of the mechanics are obfuscated on purpose, no single person is going to get things correct 100% of the time. So tbh it's fine if there are things that aren't gotten right first time

some rooms cannot be fully illuminated and will be 80% (like darker hallways in the asylum)
then there's rooms with equally divided lights, like the bleasdale diner with 2 lights, each compensating a part of the drain
and there's rooms with a main light and extra lights. where the main light will count as 100%

If the ghost sees you it has a 50 percent chance to return to that point even if it's been smudged

When the ghost doesn't have detection, it's in a "wander" state where it moves aimlessly. If the ghost ever has LoS (and maybe detection), on the following hunt, there is a 50% chance it will move to that place first.

It wouldn't be impossible and ppl have tons of ideas but it's mostly the dev team having to worry about TONS of other things about the game like bug fixes, events, new maps and eventually all map reworks, customizable character models, ghost models, horror 2.0 etc etc ghosts won't be added for a while, in some ways ghosts are hard enough to figure out anyway 👀 but tbh would be nice to see new things

When you die in Phasmo, you can still set off the motion sensor and throw things around while people are in the room so I think you're not a shade in-game...
