I’m doing no eve no sanity and can gorys event far from their room? I had two guesses as to what the ghost was demon or plot due to the fact it was so aggressive but it was in the kitchen then I left came back hide near the bathroom it did a event and then spawn killed me

Ghosts teleport to the player when doing an event. So might have been a goryo

But hard to say by that

Demon you can test by the time between hunt. After smudge 1 min instead of 1:30 min and normal 20 seconds instead of 25

Hey I’m fairly new to the game, I’m prestige-25 and I’ve just tried nightmare so I can progress in the game. I asked the ouija board where the ghost is and it said it’s in the living room. Checked for the tmps and it was in fact in the living room on tangle wood. I placed two Jesus (crucifix) down for safety to ensure the whole premises is covered. TELL ME WHY the ghost starts to hunt and comes out of master bedroom. If someone can explain please do and thank you

Big help for nightmare/ insanuty are forced evidemce if you didnt know. Some ghosts have evidence that they must have:
Moroi and deogen spirit box
Hantu freezing
Obake uv
Mimic orbs
Goryo dots

dont forget that moroi gets faster eventually after a longer time it sees you (line of sight), and revenants just gets fast as soon as they spot you

For starters, always have an escape route. Make sure it's something you can quickly get to and even throw a crucifix near it so the ghost cannot cut you off in a surprise hunt. For newer/inexperienced players, hide > loop. Get used to breaking line of sight with the ghost multiple times to make sure it loses you and cannot speed up.

Heard of a moroi test when you stand by a candle and see if your sanity drops why does this not work by standing in regular light do you need to stand by the candle

I think it's because moroi prefer the dark because it drains sanity faster, candles / fire lights aren't electrical lights the moroi can just shut off, it'll drain your sanity at a lower pace than without a candle because moroi are more powerful in darkness :)

Morois are way over-cursing right now. I've not had a single one since Chronicle that had the number of abilities used that it should have. The one I just had, I got one Spirit Box response, got another one to record with the sound recorder., and then I recorded a ghost event, which I don't think should curse you, but it worth mentioning. So I should have had 2 abilities used. There was 8 on the post game screen. I remove the curse when I get it, but it feels impossible to keep from getting it again.

My suspicion is, if you're in range of a turned on sound recorder, and that sound recorder is in range of a paranormal sound, even if you don't pick up the recorder, much less record the sound, it's giving you the curse.

The only game I know with a rem pod is Conrad Stevenson, and in that game it detects EMF, not motion.

In Conrad Stevenson, you set it on the floor and it detects EMF levels. You do use it to know if the ghost is nearby, but strictly speaking, it detects the EMF that follows the ghost, rather than motion. That's the only rem pod I've ever heard of.
