Can anyone explain: A friend and I just had a banshee on bleasdale and it didn’t drain either of our sanity, I was certain I was the target because my friend hid and was at 35-40% sanity then left the house for me to test. I was at 70% when it hunted. He came in to video during the hunt. It ignored him the first time then he went to the top of the stairs and it chased him even after smudging and hiding. He then died.

Question: I heard ppl using summoning circle for a easy ghost photo so I wanted to try it out, but I didn’t wanna risk a 15 min perfect game by dying to the ghost (twas a rev). I put down T3 cruci bc I’m not good with fast ghosts. I thought that at least I’d be able to see the ghost for a few seconds before it used the cruci but nothing. So does using the cruci completely stop it from showing or did the game unfortunately glitch?

A passive, short range node, that spawns a slower ghost, and an active, long range node, that spawns a faster ghost

But the nodes aren't the ghost, I think the ghost follows the node and then interacts accordingly which node its at

Think of it as a ghost with a regular arm and a very long arm. So it can do interactions near or far. When it hunts it flips a coin to see if starts right where it is (slow twin) or where it last did a far interaction (fast twin). The Cruci check is always done where the actual ghost is before this coin flip.

Every target check becomes from the beginning of the players list. This means that if a host (let's say the 1st target) dies, the second player in the lobby becomes a target, and then the host revives, he will become a target again, since the list is checked from the beginning, and the player is alive, but not a target twice in a row

The current target doesn't have to be killed by ghost for it to be changed. If the ghost started hunting without a target in the house (target's sanity is < 50 %) and killed someone, then target will be reselected again

Hi guys, me and my friend just had a weird game on Bleasdale Farmhouse and we really need someone to explain this to us, cause we're both really confused; (reminder that we're playing custom so we only have 1 evidence but everything else is normal nightmare settings)
I walk in and get EMF 3 in the foyer and presume it's either there or roamed to me (which leds us with Banshee, phantom or Wraith) as i go upstairs into the attic it's throw smth else near me and obvs we presume its a roaming ghost from there, the ghost room was the attic room in the back and we get Dots as our evidence (still Banshee and Phantom, stepped in salt so Wraith is gone from there) we decide to leave after some time and we go with Banshee cause it seemed to follow me around but got Yurei? can someone explain how it roamed all the way downstairs during the start of the game, cause we're really confused how it roamed so far from its room in the Attic. :)

Was another thing that happened to you. So your ghost interacted last time using far-range and started a hunt. Far-range wasn’t reset and that’s why it can touch the things with increased radius during the hunt

You can’t id a goryo during a hunt, but you can Id them by how far they roam out of their room with a motion sensor

Either they're hitting another flame as a cruci, or they're under smudge timer/cooldown. Counting almost always leads to problems. So much cleaner and faster to use the 20s rule

You could try smudging it at the last 10-20s, then bring crucifix + 2 smudges down to matron office. Then (assuming thats the room) you can perform ghost tests. You have a shimmy spot with the chair and desk in matron office incase it hunts outside the room
