Hunts can start just outside of room boundries or you are just outside of room boundries.
Use motion sensors to keep track if where shade is.

My very first Deogen was on the old Asylum. My friend and I were just heading out because we'd been in for quite a while and hadn't found the ghost. Front door slammed in our faces, and we were like "okay we'll just huddle here because the ghost is far away and we'll be fine" and we hear something sprinting from the far end of the map straight toward us.

And with how the old Asylum echoed, it sounded so terrifying hearing it getting closer and closer

so from what I’ve personally seen and my like 140 games played on camp alone a normal ghost will like slightly tug on tent door while a Yurei will do one of those very forceful tugs to where the tent door almost clips through the tent

I purely guess on that and I’ve gotten it correct 90% of the time

With testing on two different maps, on same difficulty, I was getting to 50% sanity almost twice as fast on Grafton next to a lantern as on Ridgeview next to a lantern. Just sitting in dark next to a lantern, no events, etc.
