Like a normal ghost let’s say normally is 5 speed and a rev is 10 speed when it sees you and when on 150 speed the normal ghost is 7.5 speed but the rev will feel like 8 speed

If a ghost is going to give UV, it will leave a UV footprint for every audible footstep after stepping in Salt. Guaranteed.

So you can rule out UV if you hear the footsteps and there are not UV footprints.

If a ultraviolet ghost steps in salt and then walks it will leave ultraviolet footsteps if it decides to stand still it won't leave any.

Dots, box and freezing all have quirks, the ghost must enter dots state to be seen in dots. You can't always just say it's not dots.
Box has an error percentage and range to establish so it can be a pain.
Freezing temperatures follows the ghost so if it is roaming out of its room a lot that can be a very hard one to get

Freezing takes time to appear, spirit box has a % of getting a response. Dependent on the tier of it. Its not really guaranteed. It also has a range and the ghost has to be within the range.

Between the 2, its easier imo to rule out freezing if its missing. Its incredibly hard to accidentally miss freezing

Spirit box you could simply miss it by being in the wrong part of the room, or the ghost roaming

Dots is also pretty easy to miss. It can take quite a long time for a ghost to appear on dots

Thats why a ghost could be in kitchen on tangle, but interact in the garage

There might be others, but the only one I know of is trying a light switch during an event.

I had one time on a 0ev game I had a similar helpful Mare, where it did 1 interaction the whole game which was its ability. Mine was on Grafton, it was the living room switch
