Remember the ghost only "spawns" when you open the front door. After that it's always somewhere, and even during setup time it does the other normal things that take it out of its room like roaming and doing events.

Was playing no evidence last night with this dude. Smudge timer started and ghost hunted at 2 seconds over 3 min. No sanity. Dude said it was a mare in which i said spirit. It did turn out to be a mare. The ghost did no mare light switching (camp woodwind) and did not explode any light bulbs. They said its because the ghost was eventing so much and that a
Mare can event instead of hunt. I am prestige 14 and 700+hours in the game. Would love to learn something new but cant find any documentation of this. Other dude got orher ghost correct very quickly in other hunts but they are no prestige level 100. Are they just hacking or is there some truth to the mare i dont know about lol.

Don't believe the Mare has a mechanic that forcing it to hunt 2 seconds over 3mins. I suspect they were cheating somehow, or just got very lucky

What is the chance in percent that a Hantu turns off the breaker? Some say it's increased to 50%, while others claim it's 25%.

My second question: Do you have to be near a Djinn for it to drain your sanity, or does it happen as long as you're inside the house?

And my third question: How much faster is a ghost with standard speed during a Blood Moon? Some say 15%, others say 25%.

Also the Cheat Sheet 😉. Most ghosts have "normal" speed and gain Line of Sight (LoS) speed the longer they see you.

Ones with non-normal base speed are: Rev, Hantu, Twins, Moroi, Deo, Thaye, and Mimic doing one of those.

Plus Jinn and Raiju that have special speedup conditions

In tanglewood, my teammate died in kitchen, I was at the l in hallway and living room, went to the main door to smudge, never saw the ghost and just died. Also happened when I was looping in edge, disappeared then I just died few seconds later. Wasn't a phantom.

Nah, Banshees have a specific target and will not hunt others unless their target is outside the investigation area. The weird thing about the bug for me was that I was the only one in the investigation area, so it should have hunted me regardless of who the target was. It did hunt me, but only once it saw me, not from sensing my electronics when it should have

2. it's hard to test for, i'll agree on that one

PLEASE DEV'S stop other ghosts from blowing all the candles out and hunting and also throwing everything in sight when its not and Onryo or poltergiest. We had a polter blow 4 candles out one after the other and also a Jin that threw everything off the bench. It makes it so confusing. Don't want it to be easy and all ghosts throw things but not the same as polter.
