Find breaker, walk around with parabolic, keep an eye out for doors that have been opened halfway. Now with sound recorder you might be able to catch the ghost by sound

Half the ghosts in the game have orbs so it’s also a good idea to walk around with a video camera to see if you can find orbs

Well it doesn't give you light but it amplifies any visible light or infrared light so it doesn't help with preventing or slowing down the decrease of your sanity.

I'm not sure if the igniters can slow down the sanity drain when the firelight is not in the inventory

Tbh I dont think anyone knows how to explain the twins ghost without sounding stupid including the devs of the game, its a cool idea for a ghost but each time its explained it makes no sense

I like to think of it in a way that it is 2 ghosts in a sense, you have ghost 1 (the main ghost, the ghost you should focus on and investigate) and ghost 2 which is the decoy twin to throw you off among other things, I got this analogy off a youtube video explaining all ghost types and even he said the official definition for twins doesnt make much sense

The Twins is a single ghost with the ability to simulate activity in two places. There is no actual second ghost.

When The Twins performs an interaction, there is a 50% chance it will use its special 'ability', resulting in:
40% chance of:
• One interaction within the normal range of the ghost
• A second interaction in the extended range after 0.5–2 seconds
60% chance of:
• A single interaction in the extended range only
Note: Distant interactions can occur even during hunts.

When The Twins initiates a hunt, there's a:
50% chance it starts the hunt from the ghost’s current location
50% chance it teleports to the location of the last distant interaction and begins the hunt from there
Movement speed varies depending on where the hunt starts:
• 1.5 m/s if starting from the ghost's current location
• 1.9 m/s if starting from the distant interaction location
(or from current location if no recent distant interaction has occurred)

Crucifix interaction quirk:
The crucifix check happens before the ghost teleports to the distant location. This means the ghost can bypass a crucifix if it wasn't within range at the time of the check, even though it teleports onto a crucifix afterward and still starts the hunt.

I think houses like Tanglewood are supposed to be normal, modern-day homes that a ghost got into recently. While maps like Sunny Meadows are supposed to be old, abandoned places that have been haunted for a long time.

Basically nowhere is safe from the ghosts in the Phasmo world. You could just be minding your own business and one day your house is haunted by a demon.

Which is a fine horror idea, even if the maps themselves aren't very creepy.

I have a question, does anyone know if this is a bug or got patched? The twins bow was there and it was obvs a twins.(no mimic due to no orbs) and later on it was a shade.
Second time was when me and a friend played and we used the Tarrot cards. It hunted and first hunt he was very slow. And then after the second death pull he was instand speeding up until the last few seconds of the hunt. We thought its twins again and got the twins bow on the activity board too(both sided) but it was a hantu.
Besides. The yurei does the ability where he slams the front door(mimic leaves uv, which we didn’t had) and it was no hunt nor event. And those bugs are really annoying. (Beside only playing with no Evs or anything. Did the abilities got patched?

1. if you are referring the twinteraction (the red line on the activity board slightly bending), every ghost can do that with pure chance, the twins just has a higher chance of it happening since it's the intended ability
2. Hantus are faster in colder rooms and slower in hotter rooms
3. I believe every ghost can slam doors now, the yurei just has a different kind of door slamming, I'm not sure about this since I haven't played phasmo at all recently, so I'm gonna need someone to confirm me on this

Slight correction with the curve on the activity board, all ghosts can replicate it, but it only happens with interactions that work outside of the cooldown for standard interactions. I.e tripods or firelights. Imagine the ghost interacts with a door and then a tripod

All ghosts can slam doors, Yurei is the only one which can interact with the front door and is only able to fully open/ close doors. Also even before chronicle ghosts could slam doors, Yurei also took away 15% sanity and was more likely to do it

I understand paras reach one floor up or down depending on pointing. what i'm not sure of is exactly how for forwards (in the spread) does it go on T3 assuming the spread angle is still there from t2.

also you don't (have to) point up or down for T3 to pick up other floors. It just does.

Plan when to show yourself in apoc3. So its last 10seconds of hunt. Gives you time for the pic and smudging and not a lot of time for ghost to kill you.

they're inaccurate in the sense you can't get an exact reading from them. But anything below 0 counts as freezing temps.

Big difference is the speed in which they show the temperature. the T1 moves veeeeerry slowly, and it can take a few seconds for you to be sure it's lowering/raising. The T3 on the otherhand will pretty much update instantly
