Banshee question(s): I know the Banshee has a target ( obviously ) that it picks at random from start, and it uses its ability to wander to them, but if their target isn't in the house, will they still use that ability on another person, like, who there next target will be? And does the Banshee still move in a set order after it kills its target? ( I read on the wiki it goes based on the order that people joined, after the initial random target. For instance, the next target would be the host is the host wasn't the initial target )

A lot of it also might depend on your settings, roaming set to low, chances are a goryo won't leave it's room since it is unlikely to in the first place. Roaming set to high ups that possibility

I just finished a 30ish minute test on it too, farthest I saw it roam out of its room was 2ish meters, well within the short roam range, this makes me think that it can be at the edge of its room boundary, begin wander state, and pass the check for being in its room then roaming a farther 3m out of its room, haven't seen a full 3m roam yet

You leave the spirit box on, drop it on the floor and the ghost has a chance to use it, even without asking a question.
It’s probably better to walk around with the sound recorder waiting for ghost sounds though

otherwise its not too bad getting to a loopng spot, or smudging it and getting to a hiding spot

Any ghosts can initiate a hunt when conditions are met and they are not directly tied to a stalk or roam ability

Banshee may choose to starts hunting near your friend after it got there. Or it may just go back to its room. It doesn't have to be near the target to hunt.

As we have noticed, if the ghost needs to return to the room quite far, then the ghost starts doing some actions on the way home. That is, as if it is still moving, but at the same time it makes interactions, therefore one of these interactions can be wandering/event/start of the hunt, etc

Sorry, new player with a seemingly difficult question it seems. When a hunt is ongoing, if someone else uses global chat you hear static (afaik) regardless of where either player is. If you are inside and this happens, will it count as an electronic/audio/similar and attract a hunting ghost without LOS or a current target?
Asking multiple experienced players and looking online seems to get opposing answers everywhere so I'm really lost. Ideally, could someone please point me to somewhere where someone has tested this semi-recently?

When you are close to the ghost (10 meter range) your walkie talkie becomes static when you use it, if the ghost detects it (9 meter range) it will come to the position it detected someone using the walkie if it's roaming without increasing LoS
Exceptions:
-The Yokai's detection range is reduced to 2.5m
-The Revenant will speed up if it detects the walkie, which is technically not LoS speed up but doesn't hurt to mention

I have something that has been in my head for a while, sorry if this sounds like a rant, but to me, it feels like the T2 sound recorder is a downgrade from the T1 one. I don't see anyone mention this, but the little animation when you turn on the T2 prevents you from quickly getting a recording, and the increased distance doesn't seem to make up for that. Is it actually worth using?

Crucifix (Consumable: All Tiers)

The Crucifix is a complex piece of equipment in Phasmophobia that can prevent a Ghost from entering its physical form to attack; exception being Cursed Hunts with Tiers I and II. Drop or place it around the Ghost using the F or G key (default).

The two functions the Crucifix serves are as follows:

Functions

1. Whether on the floor or in your hand, the Crucifix will prevent a Hunt within a small radius. If a Ghost tries to Hunt within that range, it will be stopped and use up a part of the Crucifix.

2. A Crucifix's range is larger when either your Crucifix tier is higher or the Ghost is a Demon, which will prevent Hunts from a larger radius.

- Upon the Crucifix being half-burnt, it has been used once - Fully burnt has been used up entirely.
