To get mods on console games I believe you have to have a jailbroken console, which is possible - but rare to come across.

The best way I found to reproduce it is to end up in a game with a spirit and never change your pick

Since spirit is selected by default but the game thinks you didn't select it and doesn't give you credit

Happens with other ghosts but is more of a crapshoot when it does

I didn't reselect it. That's one way I found that generally fixes it in that case

If the ghost is a spirit, you must actively click another ghost in the journal then back to spirit

Prior to Chronicle, it behaved properly and if the ghost was a spirit, the game would correctly credit you if you never selected another ghost

we were just doing an investigation on edgefield road, we narrowed it down to demon poltergeist and myling and it went to hunt when we had a crucifix, we were on 54% sanity and we went to the van and it had burnt the vans crucifix whilst we were in the house, it was fully burnt, but demons have a increased radius on crucifix

So, how does the Onryo work? My impression was that it hunts after it blows 3 candles. I laid out 3 candles and it blew all of them within 10 seconds and there was nothing

did you see the onryo blow two of them out within a couple seconds of each other? that can usually point towards an onryo... but the best way to test is to light a firelight and wait for the ghost to blow it out. every ghost cannot blow out a candle within 20 seconds of you lighting it except the onryo

Just important to note. Voice chat and voice recognition are 2 seperate systems.
You can try using a spirit box to make sure its working by getting the light indicator to be red on t1/t3 and the X on t2. This will mean game recognizes your voice or not. Can try in the truck.

I assumed since the hand wasn't moving, it was a voice recognition issue, and that weird alt tab thing happens to me constantly, usually just clicking the game icon to go back into the game fixes everything

I also had no idea you could test that in the truck, I genuinely thought you had to be in the house to do it

Have the devs addressed the issue with only the host being able to get Ghost Hunting sound recordings? Like, are they aware of it? Also my friends and I have been having issues with the video recorder since the last update, it'll spin and almost get the recording and then restart in a loop.

Yea but I personally prefer having 0 prestige the Roman numerals make the Id look cluttered and it looks better to me just to have a flat number instead of the number plus Roman numerals

If they allow xp carrying over, a person could technically farm enough xp in prestige 0/1 until they have enough xp to instantly go to prestige 20 level 90+, effectively skipping the point of prestiging (losing all items and money)

Thats prob why they dont let xp carry over
