Normally, no ghost can hunt at 50s, even Demon is 60s. So you either didn't start your timer on time, you didn't actually smudge the ghost, or someone used a cursed object. But sounds like novena might have an idea

We've found about one surprising thing, that's gonna hurt your head more. Basically, there are main "zones" (colliders) in rooms, ghosts will always set waypoints in Favorite Room state there and event there. And orb will spawn in that zone

spirit and yurei are different ghosts but i assume you meant ghost lol, yureis ability is to slam doors but it slams them slightly differently, it slams them slower than other ghosts and it doesnt make the new "slam" sound it makes the old door close sound you hear for a regular close sometimes, not to mention checking sanity monitor to confirm it drained sanity after doing it

the yurei can do the normal slam that was added this update and the ability slam, the visual difference between the two is that the ability slam is visibly slower and more "polite" looking while the new slam quickly shuts the door and plays a slam noise, where the yurei ability plays the normal "door shut" noise instead of the slam noise

This is a side effect that they could reengineer to make it easier to hear, like having the dropped item make an additional sound, its the exact same conversation as right to repair, this is their game just like the car manufacturer, they can make it so you can't repair it until it gets to the government(which is where the metaphor ends)
