0, no pills. You need hunts to figure out ghosts on 0ev. So makes it easier

No pills for mult. 0 sanity isnt a big issue

I've been playing nightmare mode with 50 starting sanity and 30 restore so I get a hunt for obvious ghosts then use a pill,

I have about a 90% win rate with those settings, I mostly get the ghost wrong when I accidentally die to a non obvious ghost like a goryo lol

My most deaths are to goryos

Onryo: candles work as crucifix for hunt. After using incense you havr 1:30 min time to set candles up

Then just make a custom difficulty and crank up some other settings but keep x3 evidence. There's a pretty good x5 rewards custom difficulty that Insym made that's pretty good rewards.

Did anyone else notice the glitches on phasmophobia last night? Just curious we would get freezing temps one room but ghost room was elsewhere in point hope and willow Street ghost room moved 3 times but yet dots in kitchen was seen and walked through salt in the second room and cold breath in a third room for cold temps got ghost writing in a second room it wasn't juste of was out whole group experiencing it as whole we play nightly so this was a first for us

During the Easter event they put a mask over the lampry face child model and had it be a second ghost on the map. And I had a ton of times where we'd go to a map, lose all our sanity, anger the spirits, all that stuff, and he just...wouldn't hunt. Just play in the dots. So I started saying it was my son.

Learned that the lampry child is technically a female model but it regularly plays male ghost voice lines for me during hunts and in the box so...I dunno. Trans icon? Happy pride lol

You could outrun most ghosts, so take advantage of that. Find where the ghost is hunting from (might take a couple hunts). Smudge it to buy yourself time to investigate. Once you know the ghost room, you can even loop it around half the floor to lose it and come back to the room to set up/check for evidence.

The breaker is on the map, check that first and get it turned on.

@versed knot If you have at least 3 people:

Send 2 in each with a sound sensor, a motion sensor, and a parabolic. One for each wing of the school.

Have them place the sound sensors and motion sensors at the bottom of each staircase then hide in the two classrooms at the very back of the school with the parabolics on.

Person in the van should keep camera 3 or camera 7 active and be watching it.

When a hunt starts, if one of the players holding the parabolic hears the ghost but the sound sensor doesn't hear it, as well, then the ghost is in that back corner of the school. If they hear it after the sound sensor or around the same time, then you can't narrow down the location beyond which half of the school its in.

Person on camera should try to see if the ghost comes down from upstairs or goes upstairs from the ground floor. If the ghost comes down from upstairs, have both players go upstairs with the sound sensors and motion sensors and repeat the test with the person in the truck watching camera 8 or camera 11 (whichever is the side the ghost came down the first time). With those 2 tests you can narrow the ghost room down to a single hallway. Much easier to manage

Hunts last 60 seconds and you get 35ish seconds between hunts which is enough time to run up with the equipment and hide in the far rooms.

If the players need a flashlight, forego the motion sensor and just bring the parabolic and sound sensor

I've had a few instances where the ghost mechanically starts a hunt outside of the crucifix range, but the ghost model is in the process of moving to somewhere else in the room. The ghost appears to spawn on top of the crucifix and ignore it, but it actually tracked there after mechanically the hunt started

Not really, sadly. Though I've found that placing the cross like...not dead center of the room but a little off to one side seems to catch fringe hunts more often. You lose a bit of coverage on the other end but it gets rid of the very corners on the side you choose which is usually how those fringe hunts happen

The only way to like...fully "get rid of it" is to get rid of the grace period at the beginning of a hunt. You know, the few seconds where it can't kill you yet? I've noticed that when the grace period is gone the ghost will actually spawn right on the edge of the crucifix range like it should

Whether you wait for it to put out a candle three times, or test it’s candle cooldown, or test crucifix candle it’s all works towards the Onyro test. It’s about understanding of the ghost and what’s easier for the individual performing it. I personally find the three flames blown out easier. But another may prefer the 20 second cooldown test for candle blow out. It doesn’t matter. It’s whatever is easier for the person using it.

Like Raiju that's a tricky ghost if the power is on they will hit 2.5 I believe as long as they're 3 m or farther from you once they hit that 3m they slow back down but they can gain line of sight speed up as they see you so that slow down doesn't really help in the long run
