For alll we know the whole system was redone since they're recording video now too. A few things will be fixed just be the structure changing without any changes to the photo system. Like you won't get a Disturbed Salt or Interaction when trying for a Ghost photo, b/c the former ones aren't photos anymore.

hello i’m newer to phas sorta, i got a tier 2 cruci. i need to get a microphone sound for a perf run and its hard to do when a demon has already burnt the cruci once does it have to burn it again to hunt me and ill have time to get out or if it hunts again theres no protection

You know how when the ghost turns out lights it either turns out one light or all the lights? Well I had 2 lights on in the room + my flashlight, and it turned both the room lights off and flickered my flashlight at the same time but every other light in the house was still on, I freaked out cause I thought it was hunting 🤣
Don't judge me if I explained it weird or whatever, I know it's such a basic thing for it to do but I'm like "okay this feels very Raiju-y"

What does a crucifix do and are all ghosts affected by it?

all crucifixes prevent a hunt within a certain range (3/4/5m), increasing with each tier and uses increase (tier 1 has 1 use each, while t2/3 and 2 uses each), also t3 can also block a cursed hunt caused by a cursed item. additionally when dealing with a demon, the crucifix range is increased by 50% for them as a weakness.

they can randomly (1 out of 7) on any map (at set locations), on any difficulty (anything under insanity) or using custom settings

as for getting them in your cabinet, you have to use them to get them in there, though for tarot cards you need to pull each type of card to get them in your cabinet.
