My theory for the last picture in the preview is that they're adding a studfinder. The game is going to come close to season 1 of the Ghost Hunter reality show where every episode ends with the people explaining to the home owner that they need to install carbon monoxide detectors and do home repair.

Also depending on how long ago this shade story is from, shades used to be really bad at detecting room boundaries and the ghost could have totally thought that the locker they were waiting for a hunt in was in the same room because it was on an adjacent wall or something. Shades not being shady was a bug for a long time that was super difficult to fix. It might even still be listed.

Because of how the game works, the full map is loaded at all times. Other games just don't load what you can't see.
As a result, even if you're not in the building, the game is still calculating light and diffusion and stuff.

The larger the map, the more resource intensive even without lights. So there is a lower ceiling for the number of lights you can have on before the guy who's still using a windows xp can't play.

A hantu starts fast in cold areas and slows down when leaving those areas. A thaye will generally start fast and stay fast no matter what and slowly get slower and slower the more time you spend on the map

Voice chat issues will be different issues from day 1 - they've changed voice systems since then. The majority of voice issues atm, are based around connection to the voice servers. If you have network/internet issues, voice will be the first to feel it

The system Phas uses isn't peer to peer, it connects to a separate server for voice. Which also means an individual setup needs to allow the connection steadily. If someone's on wifi for example, and there's packet loss, voice will feel it first because there's live data being transmitted back to the server
