Their reporting system isn’t like DOTA or League where you’ll get a notification that action was taken on your report. You can report someone in game and if you have screenshots or videos for back up, you can DM them to PhasmoModMail. Otherwise they’ll look into the report however they do in the background.

You don’t HAVE to have video/screenshots, it just helps.

Not everyone is in the discord that plays the game so it’s unrealistic to say nothing gets actioned on without screenshots/videos.

I always miss freezing temp and ghost orb. As an example in my last hunt the car alarm went off and the door opened. So I put a ghost book down and it wrote in it almost immediately

Then started hunting me so I dodged around a moment and it went away

I checked for orbs with the camera and held the emf to the door it opened. Saw no orbs and only got emf 2

So with the thermometer out I had it in the area for around 15 seconds and it never dropped

Leaving me with only one possible ghost but when I got back it said it was a moroi

Which has freezing temps

Freezing can take some time

Especially if the ghost changes rooms

Cold temps, and thus freezing, are a function of where the ghost is spending its time. If you're playing on Amateur, the breaker starts on, so the whole house is 20C when you walk in. It will take a while for a ghost to bring it down to freezing (or even to 5C, when you can see your breath). This will be exacerbated by any time the ghost spends outside of its room roaming, hunting, or doing events.

I have a really cool idea which could make the game much more fun, There is no channel for me to post this idea so I'll just write it here:
Exorcism
To perform an exorcism, the player will first need a bible which unlocks at a certain level (maybe level 30). Once they have the bible, they have to take it to the ghost room to exorcise the ghost. To exorcise the ghost, the player will have to use their mic to say the text on the bible, once the page ends, they have to go to the next page by right clicking. While the exorcism is going on, all the players in the house will lose their sanity by a lot and everything in the ghost room will start getting thrown around and the lights will start flickering. You will hear screams and sometimes even see the ghost. You can use incense, crucifix and other items to make the exorcism faster and easier. If you miss even one word while doing the exorcism, it will fail, so you have to be extremely careful.

also if you do fail, the ghost will become extremely aggressive and will try to kill you so you will have to hide fast

Had a strange dream about exploring an broken down blackish amusement park, and we were already mid way into the park whereas we were gathering evidence and going back and forth found dirty playing cards (in a more realistic style) and there was a girl I was with (idk how to describe the face or voice) but there was a creaking in a cabinet and she was the one exploring the cabinet but inside was a skull and other stuff dirty things. Thinking that the playing cards were used to solve the puzzle. (I was carrying the UV the whole time) The UV showed fingerprints that were meshed into the paint. (It was either a previous ghost hunter, or the ghost.) but, due to the creaking in the cabinet it seemed like the ghost was there one making the sound so, we both stepped to a exit section (i can draw a map layout of the circus) but i pulled up my video camera then it was seen. It triggered a “cutscene” and the ghost started to look into every hiding spot (The Outlast Trials style) starting from the truck inwards (I had already threw my flashlight forward but went to grab it then, hid it by pointing the light into my chest and then, I woke up.

Its all the rest that makes it horror. Ghost events. Things occuring without you needing to be there. The mystery of not knowing the ghost. Then being hunted sometimes when you dont expect it.
Thats where phasmo shines for the horror.
