My demon hunting test yesterday to see how many demons would do the ability in under 60 seconds with the settings provided most of the demons hunted at 35 seconds if I could get the monkey paw wish off within the first six or seven so I'd say if I could immediately use the paw I'd probably get demon hunt at 30 seconds

the only way ive found out how to fix it is the manually set your entire monitor at 60hz, which then again has the problem of:

• being 60hz

• having a lot of input latency due to not being your monitor's native res

According to the cheat sheet, when the circle lights due to not having 16% sanity, it is NOT a cursed hunt. Is this true? Because the last time I asked I got conflicting answers. And if it is true, can you prevent the hunt with a t2/1 crux?

It's not a cursed hunt in the sense that it doesn't add 20s to that and add'l hunts, but it can still only be blocked by a T3 cruci. It's weird

lore-wise they could just say the ghost is disoriented for a while after being randomly pulled to a different location. I dunno.

I don't think they should nerf the danger of summoning the ghost with not enough sanity. It's just too easy too expensive to be useful. Also if it was cheaper, you wouldnt accidentally get into those instahunt situations as often

Be careful though because it's not instantaneous. The ghost has to be in the room to make it freezing temps.
So if the ghost room is very small and it roams out a lot it might not show up.

My guess is the ghost room was the room next to it and it roamed out there a lot or the ghost room was a small room and it roamed out so much it never pulled the temps down enough.

if you are not sure, just put down a crucifix and light a candle 3 times next to it and it should hunt on the 3rd candle blow out and never burn a crucifix while a candle is on nearby

The ghost constantly changing rooms with active fire is also a harder to spot but good indication

nvidia game optimization reset your settings. go back to phasmo and change your master volume back to 100, it got set to 0, then turn your crosshair visibility back on, because that also got reset, then check your brightness setting and such. then go to nvidia app and disable game optimization in settings and it should never happen again.

It was reverted back to zero. Did the reset on nvidia and went into the game without vr and set it all back up to 100 and brightness back to 100 then closed and opened game back in VR and all works as it should again
