Then next game you jokingly say fine I'll grab different items. Bring in spirit box, video, and dots. Say 'no ways its a yokai'... Find the breaker immediately. Find bone immediately, then get spirit box and dots.... Rule out wraith. Rule out phantom next with a photo cam. Fighting between hoping its a deo and desparately trying for it not to be a yokai. Its not hunting, but its not deo growling. Its a yokai.

Next map say screw it, bring in book,orbs, and emf saying "theres no ghost with all three of these"... manage to get two evidence with it. Like WHAT CAN I DO.

I unlocked custom and I'm trying to get the doors starting open NONE to work but with 3+ attempts on tangle and willow, all doors remain closed which defeats the goal of narrowing down the ghost room with 1 cracked door with other high difficulty modifiers

the delay can happen with any ghost. What you're listening for is the double-touch sound, like the sound is playing on top of itself as it closes. The 2 simultaneous EMFs can be a tell for this, yeah.

I never got a deo on my attempts to do the challenge atleast, granted it's all random so it's different for everyone but after like 50-60 attempts (most of them resets) I got 0 deos

Any ghost that does not have ultraviolet as evidence cannot leave the ultraviolet footprints. any ghosts except for wraith could simply step in the salt and you'll see that indent which is not ultraviolet evidence.
And then there's the ghost with ultraviolet who could just be jerks and not walk after they step in the salt.
