If you keep spamming spirit box with a known deo you can get it to happen within a reasonable amount of time in most cases— at least for me. Getting it before knowing what ghost it is is a lot rarer though

It has both sound examples of ghost speeds, and a tool that allows you to tap out the footstep speed and it will tell you what the in-game speed is. Very helpful for you training your ears to various ghost speeds

Just checking to see if anyone else is having this issue: Salt not always giving UV evidence.

Had a Jinn just now that did not leave footprints after stepping in the salt. No time passed between the ghost stepping in the salt and the UV light shining on the ground. Difficulty was Professional.

Just to note. Ghost orbs are always there. Even before you open the front door.
Always look carefully and in adjacent rooms as well. Orbs are bound to fav room while everything else isnt

just a mental timing thing. tbh I don't remember the exact numbers on how long it lasts vs cooldown. It's good practice to just use a little at a time so you don't run out when you might need it.
