Right, so that had to be where it did its last (ranged) interaction, so that has to at least be true for Twins, which means it's likely true all ghosts. They usually just can't reach.

no the DOTS glitch is that ghosts with valid DOTS evidence can be stuck in their DOTS state when they do an event or hunt. It makes them invisible if they're not in a DOTS projector

Something I do hope but won't happen is when chronicle goes into closed beta the devs will hire a few players to look for bugs that could somehow fuck the game over like the bug that changed your hit box a little which ruined looping in some places and playtest the update
