if lights were on it could have been a thaye or moroi depending on how long you were in the house and if you sanity was low (moroi move faster)

The Hantu moves faster during a hunt the colder the room is. So the ghost room which is typically the coldest room, the hantu moves very quick, but if it steps into a warm room it immediately slows down.

So I needed to get my sanity to 0 for daily and a photo of the ghost for optional. I figured I would go light up the summoning circle, take the photo then get out. Apparently I can't do math and when I lit the last candle the ghost appeared and instantly killed me
