I think theres a bug with closet hiding. I hide in a closet and it opens it and immedietly kills me without giving me the option to close it. Yes all my equipment is off, no head cam or anything.

It'll open my clost when walking by and then immediately walk back and it kills me, is this a bug?

The main thing that leads me to think its a tanglewood bug is it happens every tanglewood match but not in ridgeview or edgefield where closets are available.

Also. If it does see you go in closet. Then you insense away. There is a 50/50 chance itll come right to last known spot at start of next hunt which means it can walk into closet or any hiding spot in this case.

Found this out when testing if there was bug with tents on woodwind.

• Direct line of sight (360 degrees with infinite range)
• Active electronics being held in your hand (7.5m)
• Flashlights and head gear that are turned on (7.5m)
• You transmitting your radio, even if you don't speak (7.5m)
• Speaking out loud or talking into your radio (9m)

What ghosts WON'T sense:

• Your footsteps or movement
• Interactions, throwing objects, opening doors etc
• Electronics that are on the floor or not being held out
• Electronics that aren't active and are switched off
• Non-electronics like candles, lighters, glowsticks
• You receiving audio on the radio from other players
• Anything whatsoever outside the investigation area
• Any voice or electronics coming from a different floor.

from what i understand is that the Banshee skill (roam to yo ass) interacts weirdly with the long roam, because of this, the long roam has been disabled. Long roam is needed to change the ghost room (a percent chance). this is why banshees no longer have the ability to change rooms

But you can usually play until you get a fairly easy ghost. One you can clock by their speed (like 7 ghosts), or clock just by bringing them to you and seeing them for a bit (like 5 ghosts). With salt and smudge you can maybe get a Spirit, Wraith or Demon, and at that point if you still don't know you just reset... or do the objectives and ghost photo and go for a hail mary guess

So a crucifix has a certain range. When you try to place it, you will see that circle. If the ghost tries to hunt while IT is in crucifix range, it will set fire to the cruci instead

Pretty sure the ouija board always spawns in laundry room in this challenge. So you may not be able to hide but you can always find ghost right away and then go for evidence fast.

Not fully, no. Most ghost interactions just move the door slightly.

Other ghosts can close doors fully. Yurei's tell is the signature double-touch it does. It can even be identified on tent flaps (much harder there though)

okay after 45 miniutes i just took a random guess and it was goryo but i did not see him on dots a single time in a good 35+ minutes of sitting in the truck on my camera looking at my dots setup

I wouldn't go straight to Goryo, but yeah if you feel you've adequately tested for the other evidences and nothing is coming up, you might just pick Goryo and go. I've definitely done that.

keep playing with 3 evidence to learn ghost traits, maybe try to play using only 2 evidence and get the third if you need to or want to confirm your suspicions

or just like figure out the ghost then play around with it and see what about that ghost is unique
or just look it up once you get the ghost and screw with it

Larger maps - the parabolic mic

Thermo and EMF are good ones to start with for just finding the room + your ears
