I dunno, using Summoning Circle for such a purpose is quite scary if one of the options is a Rev. Which did happen once, and it was scary to hear him charge at you before the smudge takes hold. But yes, I genuinely only use the t3 crucifix if I already know what the ghost is and just want the ghost photo.

My biggest criticisms of the Bleasdale release:

1. How did nobody on the programming team question what would happen if they changed hitboxes to prevent god/stuck spots?
2. How did the entire QA team miss the LOS issues - and even if they found them, why wasn't the update delayed to fix them?

Here's the thing, I doubt QA missed it, I imagine it was released knowing there's bugs. Something that really needs to be hammered in: this is an early access game, QA and releases are going to be a little more loose than a triple A fully released game.

My guess, is that it was a bug found later, but they had already committed to the release. It's difficult to please both the "iron out all of the bugs" crowd as well as the "we want new content NOW crowd". It was a big bug, but not so big that it required a delayed release

Its at least worth trying to eliminate that as a possible reason. Just cause mic is muted physically doesnt mean there isnt electronic interference occuring that the game sees as "noise"
