it won't mimic evidence types, but it does otherwise mimic the entire ghost. it mimics abilities, the sanity at which it can hunt, and behaviors during hunt.

This also means that Mimics cannot mimic Goryo DOTS due to the lack of evidence.

You can not get a deo before p0-30

The Deogen cannot be the ghost selected for the contract if the lobby's host is below Prestige 0 Level 30. This is due to the Deogen's hunt mechanics being so drastically different from other ghosts that new players still learning the hunt mechanics would be too confused by it.[note 2]

The Mimic can still, however, imitate the Deogen before Prestige 0 Level 30.

new equipment "the lean cup". place it in the ghost room for the ghost have a chance to drink it. when the ghost drinks it theyll be chillin for the rest of the game meaning they will never hunt and will likely stay in the same place for long periods of time

i always bring camera, book, and emf. there i can find the room with emf or camera and place the book down, then go back and watch for orbs. then bring the other items that take longer to gain evidence like dots to let them sit there for a bit
you take it slower, and if you put the breaker on then your sanity drain wont be as extensive

It does make things harder, especially on levels with areas that always drain your sanity like the school, the more times you have to walk back to the truck or the fuse box the more your sanity decays

I'd say a good 99% of the time you're not always going through those 100% guaranteed sanity drains, as long as you have a headlamp you're fine most of the time.

taking photos is always a bit janky sometimes, take a ghost photo it prioritized the salt 5 feet back, take a salt picture dead on, the rug its on blocked it and gave 2 stars, etc etc

and sometimes it doesn't take at all, that's listed in #known-issues

Okay I’m so confused. I had a Ghost just completely troll me on Insanity. It waited three minutes to hunt after I incensed the room. Then I double checked made a poltergeist bomb. Never went off. Hantus are easy. You just have to either go based on footstep speed in the ghost room. Or cold breath on the ghost model when the breaker is off. While it’s hunting.

Hantus doesn’t have LOS speed up. So basically they speed up as the temperature drops.

raiju will disrupt electronics from further away. the test you are likely referring too is putting an electronic on the mointor in camp woodwind, and if it goes off while you are looping it around the tables. This ONLY works on cww and only works if youre looping it around the picnic tables

Wraiths, Banshees, and Phantoms all have roam behaviors that involve the player. Like Wraiths can teleport on top of your locations with emf two (emf 5 if the chance) procs. What is Phantom’s behavior when roaming? I recall it does something in relation to the player when roaming.

yeah just drop that multiplier down, turn sprinting back on and power on at the start, it's smaller multiplier but get more consistent perfect games on all ghosts rather than just going for the easy ones and skipping like 5 in a row before you get another easy one

just run straight to the kitchen with a cruci and your other stuff and then loop it around the dining room table when it hunts. first hunt will confirm/rule out obvious ghosts, then you take cruci firelight and motion sensor to the ghost room and use those to test/observe behaviors for all the normal type ghosts

you can get through a perfect in 5 mins or less

your graphics drivers updated and it tried to optimize your game's graphics settings. ofc, it doesn't work properly and resets several settings down to minimum. open the nvidia app and disable game optimization, then go to ingame settings, audio, and turn your master volume back up to full
