Learn their behaviors! Knowing that phantoms and banshees roam to you, wraith TPs to you, etc (for example) is helpful in narrowing down the possible ghosts once you get your 2 evidences. Also knowing how to rule out ghosts (like onryo test, for example) will help save your IRL sanity lol

EMF 5 has no meaning other than evidence. when the ghost does something that would give an EMF reading, there's a 25% chance it will change to emf 5 reading assuming the ghost gives emf 5 as evidence, and the emf5 evidence is not a hidden evidence for that game.

There’s a lot to learn. Just look at it as a flash card system - each ghost has info to learn, once you get more familiar with it/memorize it, you open up a lot more options. mare is programmed to do it intentionally (turn light off after you turn it on), other ghosts will randomly turn lights on/off. so the only way to tell if it's truly a mare is if you can get it to do the ability consistently (more than one time, ideally like 3 or 4, and ensure that a ghost event didn't just shut the light off on you)

A thaye on the first hunt should be "running", not necessarily sprinting or jogging. running is somewhere in between those two. if it's running, and it has yet to see me, and i don't see its breath (hantu), then i know immediately it is a thaye. only other ghosts that can go that fast at the start of a hunt are revenant and hantu. revenant MUST detect someone to reach that speed, and hantu will have cold breath, so easy to discern those three ghosts when you know it's a running speed ghost at the start of the first hunt

kernel runs ABOVE the system level, so if you have kernel level access, you have full control of the system. anti-cheats start using kernel level access to get more control over the system and use that control to better detect and deal with cheaters

but that comes at a cost, if there are vulnerabilities in a kernel level anti-cheat, this gives any exploiter that same kernel level access to your system

Dont sprint on the shorter corners of the countertable, have at least 1 smudge if ur looping on tanglewood kitchen countertable or willow countertable, u can crouch to break line of sight but its harder with phantoms since u dont see much infront of ur screen plus the slow blinks make it worse, dont panic and waste ur sprint (try to manage it well enough and dont just use half of the sprint, just tap the sprint key a bit to outrun the ghost a little)

ridge view is the easiest looping spot for me

closest to the entrance and im pretty sure its easier in general than other maps

if it wanders outside of the cruci range and then hunts, then yes it will bypass the cruci
