will a banshee switch targets if its previous target isnt in the house at the time? my friend got all the ghost events around him but he was outside the house when the hunt started with the banshee very close to me, i was using music box but as soon as i used it i heard the ghost like right next to me

A banshee can only switch targets once the target dies or if they leave the game if the target is outside and has low enough sanity then the people inside the house are not safe it doesn't switch targets but it still goes off its target sanity and gets mad that the target isn't in there so everyone can die.

Banshee will not swap fav person until someone dies. But with person outside of house itll act like a normal ghost and still use its roam ability just on random people.

The targets sanity is always what the banshee will use so only can hunt if the target is at 50 per cent or less.

The events even with fav person in house can still be random. Just tends to event to nearest person which happens to be fav person due to the roam ability. If that makes sense.

The maps jump from like 12 rooms straight to 30. I've got a consistent 4 stack and we clear small maps way too fast, sometimes they'll find the ghost room before I made it to the second cursed possession.
We played jail for a bit but the long straight hallways are deathtraps.

Professional feels like the 'Intended' difficulty. If only because 0-2 evidence often requires forcing a hunt. And tbh hunts feel like they're intended to be 'You messed up, get to cover'

I do believe the reason behind the forced evidence is tied to certain abilities the ghost has, for example goryo dots are seen through the video camera, that's a distinctive part of its ability. It makes sense for a goryo to have dots as forced evidence because it helps players identify a goryo through its ability. It would be easier to identify a yokai if it had spirit box as forced evidence, as it allows players to potentially trigger the yokai ability. Although the yokai ability isn't linked to any evidence I can see why it's not forced spirit box🤷

Right, I don't enjoy playing on professional because I often find myself collecting the evidence fairly quickly so to challenge myself I play nightmare/insanity. But professional is always fun to play with friends, there's nothing wrong with it. And with custom settings being an option you can tailor the settings to make it challenging and have a higher reward multiplier all while collecting 3 pieces of evidence 🤷

I understand you're upset about streamers gaining early access to game content but most games do this. I don't enjoy watching streamers, I never watch streamers. I think it's fair for them to gain early access to content🤷

If it's mostly visible during a hunt, it's an Oni. Yurei (like most ghosts) have more consistent blinking
