So you do have to be a tiny bit careful with testing poltergeist compared to other ghosts in hunts if you throw two items down on each side of where the ghost is going to be walking every few steps and it throws both items within a second you're probably dealing with the poltergeist but there's always that very small chance with rng that that 50% chance of a ghost throwing items could equal a yes and then you're dealing with what looks like poltergeist if you do the test wrong.

Yurei you're looking for the ability, or you can rule it out if it leaves its room or you see DOTS while under a smudge timer. Yokai you wanna key up your radio during a hunt so you get static and see if it ignores you.

So the radio will get static at 10m away, and it's detectable by non-Yokai at the 9m voice range. Yokai cannot detect until 2.5m, making the radio/global the most accurate test for them.

Yeah, I think it was a miscommunication of what is what. Whether demon can bypass setup time which is the standard time on Intermediate and Amateur - demon cannot bypass cooldown time which is the time between hunts
