It goes through options like Interaction/breaker/event/hunt/ability. You're removing breaker and hunt from the options, and trying to make events less likely

But since all activity increases the lower your sanity, being at 80% is better than 100%

Though the one part that extends beyond the timer, is using it with the shared journal link. That way if anyone starts a smudge timer in my group, it starts all of ours

I had the hardest time finding something that would work like an overlay without blocking events to the game, but still with global hooks for the keybinds. Only issue I'm having is there is some lag between UI updates and audio cues, sometimes the timer slows down/speeds up, figure it has something to do with JavaFX event loop, and some delay on keybind activation (JNativeHook)

I looked into C# but never really worked with it for anything other than little personal projects

Okay so the first instance, we were doing an Onryo test, and randomly one of the firelight relit itself. I think I have a clip of it somewhere. We thought it wasn't a Onryo, but we were wrong. Second time, I noticed that a candle in the Master Bedroom on Tanglewood Drive had randomly been ignited. I know for a fact it wasn't my friend and I certainly didn't lit this candle. It ended up being Onryo as well. Are Onryo's not supposed to behave this way or can this happen with any ghost?

I have never heard any reports of candles and firelights lighting themselves or being lit by ghosts

If you do have proof of this I'd suggest filing a bug report

Also keep in mind if you have your candles close to each other, you can light a candle with another one, which may have been what happened the first time around based on your description.

You can also light the campfire in heavy rain with t1 lighter

Specifically t1 bc there's a bug where the game thinks there's a lit match during the animation so it will ignite the campfire.

It's not that hard on PC. It was definitely easier back when you could grab any candle on the map regardless of if you brought it or not. Limits the "teddy sacrifice" circle you make for fun D:

A lot of people prefer T1 because the ghost can speed away from you. T2 slows it down and T3 freezes it, which can make it hard to get away.

T1 smudge if you'd rather the ghost be able to speed away. T3 Camera if you have it, T3 Crucifix.. There's honestly a lot better people to find on youtube and such that could give you better advice than me.

Try making a new lobby? I’m an Xbox player, my buddy is as well and we play with PC players also. We only have the issue between the console players for some reason. So when he or I can’t hear each other we just reload and it works. I dont know.
