have a crucifix right where you are so the ghost doesnt spawn on top of you, and hang out in a good looping spot, so that you can loop, smudge, and hide

as long as its not certain fast ghosts and its not a like 2 minute cursed hunt you should be able to if youre able to break line of sight while looping but it can be tough

Ok, sorry lots of questions as I aim to get better. So is walking viable most of the time, or is running once you know direction best bet? Does the sound of running cause it to track you better or anything?

Ghosts only track you via, sight, electronics, and talking.
