the only one that changes speed based off sanity is Moroi. You can test it by smudging it because it will be blind for 7.5s instead of the normal 5s 🙂

I'm not doing that. I've done all the challenges multiple times at this point, every week since they've released, and I'm tired of dying on 0 sanity challenges lol. I like keeping my deaths low, and like 75% of my deaths come from just a few 0 sanity challenges, so I'm cutting them out from now on

The possibility of every ghost being a demon at the beginning of my contracts really gives it a tense edge, even after 600 hours. I even had a dream a few days ago that I was trying to get a ghost picture of a Yokai in Edgefield (which is very unlike me), and the ghost burned all the crucis and hunted, and I ran past my hiding spot with the smudges in a panic and hid in the garage, but then it found me so I brought up the game menu and hit leave game lol, which woke me up. That was like, the very same day I got back to 1 death per 10 hours.

Ohhh that's a cool idea... you have to keep eye contact with the deo to keep it's speed low, otherwise it'll just be a reduced speed... so fastest when it's running to you, it'll slow down to like 1.4 m/s near you and whilst you keep eye contact it'll be at 0.3 m/s

Look away and it'll ramp up to 1.4 m/s again

I thought of something similar... The Necklace of Eyes, you can see the ghost for short periods of time (outside of hunts) but the negative effects is over time your player speed drops until you are pretty much at 50% speed and at that point, the cursed hunt begins
