sorry for the late reply. yes, goryo will always have dots as an evidence, and the dots will always only be on camera and not in the room. so if you're stuck between jinn and goryo and you either 1) don't have dots or 2) see dots outside of the camera, then you know it's a jinn.

also, some other points to help differentiate are that Goryos cannot change ghost rooms and Jinns cannot turn off the breaker

The ghost sings when it is activated. If the music box is close enough to the ghost, they'll walk toward the music box and start a cursed hunt when they reach the music box. It also drains your sanity.

Nightmare is a good stepping stone for people before they get into custom I don't like insanity mode because if you're still trying to get used to it you might not want to have your sanity start that low but you're either going to do lower evidence with high sanity to play the game or you're going to do the hunt strat.
I like at least one evidence it can cut a lot of ghosts off the list and make the choosing easier when it goes to hunt and if I want to lower my sanity I'll use a cursed object I've never been in it for the EXP or the money grind but I don't put down people that play that way I just don't and that's my choice
