It's called the "Lament" and the biggest part of the ghost is that it essentially fakes the end of a hunt.

Not really. It would take 2-3 days to get used to the quirk then people would simply wait 10 more seconds before leaving their hiding spot. And if you were looping the ghost you would simply instantly get it.

if you're looping on the tanglewood kitchen island, crouch, so it doesn't see you, and loop with the goal of preventing it from seeing you. use sprint sparingly, only when you REALLY need it. keep your eyes on the ghost at all times, because if you're not looking at it, you won't know if you need to smudge, and die

If you're looping on the tanglewood/ridgeview table, stand up straight, keep your body pressed up against the table, make perfect 90 degree turns around corners (because the ghost can't do that), keep your eyes on the ghost, and only sprint down the long sides of the table with short taps

US doesn't have too many but a skinwalker would be interesting. Gameplay I could imagine it similar to a mimic, in that it chooses a ghost to be at the beginning of the round. But it would be for the whole contract. It would always have it's own evidence (wouldn't copy evidence). It would periodically make noises that you'd expect teammates to make during a hunt (human footsteps at 1.7m/s or activating random equipment for example, so it's a freebie in solo).

The way to know if you’re dealing with a Myling is hiding while having your flashlight on and placing it on the ground. If the flashlight starts to flicker and malfunction and you hear the footsteps right after, you’re dealing with a Myling.

Most ghosts have a very obvious tell they do during hunts. So a experienced player will finish a game in 1-3 minutes in 0 sanity while it could take 10-15 minutes on amateur.
