hold a smudge and crouch, go back as far as you can, try to have the ghost in vision all the time, if it comes behind the counter, smudge and wrap around. Hope it doesn't follow

It’s fine that it still freaks you out. Exposure will help and having a plan.

The one thing that has helped me the most of finding a flow of preparation. While searching for the ghost room check what hiding places are open and checking for the bone at the same time. Now that I’ve gotten to where I sometimes need the ghost to hunt for me to find out what it is I plan where I will be standing while waiting for a hunt so I can smudge and run to a hiding spot just hide to listen to it. The preparation has helped take a lot of the panic from not escaping out.

That's a fun fact, that I've never actually seen before because it requires looping a very fast ghost for a long time

Each Apoc has a Custom preset if it helps.

It's possible that it roamed there by chance. The game doesn't officially recognize it as a hiding spot, but all that means is that the game won't block it off if your turn off hiding spots.

I don't think they have to be Tier 1 but you can't add ANYTHING like no loadout, just the base what the game gives you. Try disabling your loadout entirely and running it that way.
