a couple things: The lights always turn off when a hunt ends for all ghosts. If the lights in a room were truly broken, that's a separate event not connected to the hunt.

Jinn can still turn off lights from an event, the end of a hunt, or just hitting the switch. The breaker itself is not turned off from hunts, so it staying on after a hunt doesn't mean anything.
