I’m trying to get more comfortable with Point Hope, because it’s such a beautiful map even though it can be a PITA. So now I’ve made it the map I go to when I want a quick solo game. Just jumped in, got pretty lucky that kitchen was the ghost room… Then it turned out to be a demon that hunted at 90%.

Quick question before I play it the Apocalypse what sanity do you have to have it at?

If you set the preset you can look through all the settings

for silver and bronze you can choose whatever settings you want, as long as the multiplier is high enough

for gold you can either change hunts to medium or events to medium

(at least the somewhat useful ones to change)

For bronze you can have atleast 75 or 100 with right settings

For silver i think 50 max and for gold 0

The hardest thing in apocalypse are player speed and ghost speed no sprint, but you can start with 0 sanity 0 evidence and only 150% ghost eith no decrease in players

Eh, the other two will still give you a general direction and can give an instant tell for Moroi or Banshee if you’re lucky

Yeah, it’s all circumstantial. Like, the Moroi thing has been invaluable for me several times when doing difficulties that have the sanity monitor, but without the monitor you lose a whole niche.

usually I’ll have evidence enabled if I have the sanity monitor enabled. I do play a lot on 8.65x though, where sanity monitor IS enabled and its 0 evidence

I usually get it via spirit box though

because Ive never played no evidence with sanity

if I play no evidence im playing 0 starting sanity

I play only with normal speeds everything other is at max

When I’ve seen it, it’s often been around a 50% difference. Unless you run straight back to the van to check, yours will be at or near zero while everyone else is pretty healthy. It’s drastic.

I either play 3.95x with friends who are new (nightmare with sanity monitor enabled) or I play 8.65x (no ev no sanity but high sanity pill restoration)

the high san pill restoration is mainly for checking those pesky shades and mares

we just wanna keep it going, not spend 20 minutes trying to tell a shade from a yurei
